      The Difference Festival

Explore the idea of ‘truth’ with a colourful array of free workshops, discussions, activities and talks at the University of Westminster, including trying a lie detector, discovering one’s true physiological age and hearing straight from Sunday Times bestselling author Lewis Dartnell on how the Earth has shaped human history.
The Difference Festival, curated by the academic staff from the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, University of Westminster, is an annual event open to the public to learn more about the world around us.
The University of Westminster has always been intent on assisting the public in its pursuit of truth. In 1838, The Polytechnic Institution at Regent Street was created as a place for the public to explore new ideas, discover inventions, acquire knowledge and learn skills. We strive to continue those ambitions and to make a difference embodying the link between theory and practice and changing the world for good.
